Structural Health Monitoring

TRI Austin is intent on extending the life of aircraft, vehicles, ships, and submarines. We work with nondestructive testing, advanced durability and damage tolerance analysis, and structural monitoring to this end.

TRI Austin has developed technologies to monitor structural health during use. Some even diagnose status and predict failure. Our Large Area Health Monitoring Processor (LAHMP) system monitors composites aboard aircraft. It’s been flight qualified and completed a successful test flight aboard an F-15.
