This past week, TRI held its Annual TRI Employee Meeting which consisted of ice cream, trivia, a raffle, and IPad minis. This fun-filled hour was presented by the leaders of each department, located in Austin, along with our CEO Scott Strehli.
This annual tradition has been around for many years and was originally created by TRI’s previous CEO Scott Thornton. Scott would go around the TRI offices pulling a cooler filled with ice cream, handing it out to all of the staff members. As the staff grew, this annual tradition turned into a meeting where they served ice cream to the staff and the executive members discussed what their departments have accomplished in the last year. This would include financial and developmental statistics about each department and how it contributed to the company.
Over the years, TRI has been implementing different elements to the meeting. Last year Mr. Strehli and executive staff members created the trivia and raffle to add a little competition and fun to the meeting. The trivia was an amusing way to replace the slideshow about the company’s accomplishments that was presented by the department heads. The raffle was created has an exciting game-of-chance to win 1 of 10 IPad minis presented by our IT department.
The meeting is a way to say thank you to the staff members that work for TRI. It is their dedication and expertise that makes this company successful since 1975. This meeting also informs all of the companies what each department has accomplished over the past year and accomplishing at this halfway mark. This event occurs annually in the summer after the shareholders meeting and before the summer Round Rock Express Baseball Game, which is great social event for the employees and their families.
Thank you to all of our executive employees for organizing this entertaining meeting and baseball tickets. A special thank you to all of the staff at TRI, we would not be the company that we are today without you and all of your hard work.
