These industries have all been designated “Critical Infrastructure Sectors” under Presidential Policy Directive 21 and Department of Homeland Security emergency readiness programs implementing the USA Patriot Act of 2001. 42 U.S. Code § 5195c(e). It is therefore the policy of the United States government that these industries continue to function in the event of an emergency. Furthermore, in the ongoing White House coronavirus task force press conferences, the President of the United States has instructed employees of Critical Infrastructure Sectors to continue to perform their normal job functions during the coronavirus pandemic.
We have taken every effort to ensure our teams are safe and that they cause no health risk to their families.
We also encourage responsible and healthy interactions with all of our business partners and clients. Employee travel is restricted unless absolutely necessary to support our customers. We continue to fully support our employees both from a wage and benefit standpoint as well as a health and safety standpoint. We are taking intelligent steps at all of our facilities around the world, including the option to work from home, staggered work schedules, social distancing, and additional safety and cleaning procedures to help protect and support our team. For those employees at our facilities, we are following the CDC guidelines for social distancing and personal hygiene. We have placed disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray bottles, and hand sanitizer throughout our facilities and have professional cleaning companies sanitizing our facilities each evening.
Texas Research International will continue to provide our subsidiaries many support services including: Accounting and finance including all payroll, accounts payable/accounts receivable, IT and network services, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Safety.
We proudly remain resolute and strong to continue our work throughout the United States and the rest of the world.
